Life is hard. I know.
Think about the last movie you watched. Romantic subplot, right? The last song you couldn't get out of your head - love, loss, longing? The headline that stopped your scroll - a scandal, a breakup, a betrayal? Sex and relationships aren't a niche corner of human experience. They ARE the human experience. And yet most of us are completely alone in trying to navigate them.
My Approach
How I actually work
The “work from within” approach
I spend a lot of time in session just listening to how your brain works — how you construct meaning, what framework you use to make sense of your world. Then I start working from inside that framework to slowly challenge and shift it. I'm not here to tell you who to be. I'm here to help you become more of who you already are, with the stuck parts unstuck.
I use humor - a lot of it. Not to minimize what you're going through, but because laughter breaks down walls that logic can't move. I'm observational, a little irreverent, and I find the absurdity of daily life endlessly useful in a therapy room. But make no mistake - I take your struggles seriously. I just don't think suffering has to be solemn to be real.
My approach is solution-focused. That doesn't mean we skip the hard emotional work, because we won’t. But it does mean that every session has a purpose and a direction. I'm not going to ask you, "How does that make you feel?" seventeen times and send you home with nothing to show for it. We're going to understand what's happening, figure out why, and start building real, concrete change. You'll leave sessions with tools, frameworks, and clarity- not just feelings.

I live in Plano, TX with my husband, three teenagers, and two cats who have strong opinions about everything. When I'm not in session or behind a microphone, I'm training for my next marathon - I'm on a mission to run one in all 50 states - or I'm deep in some kind of artisan project: sewing, knitting, painting, home DIY. My house is, shall we say, charmingly haphazard.
I am genuinely terrible at technology and organization, which is either reassuring or alarming depending on how you look at it. What I am exceptional at is sitting with people in their hardest moments and helping them find their way through. That's the trade-off I've made, and I think it's a good one.
